blakeboard

the love for board sports runs through the veins of both my boys.
they find this place of companionship and i am left alone, with a camera.
i can wakeboard, but put wheels on that puppy and bye bye baby beginner.
too many near death experiences.
the weekend was full of lots of arduous projects so to wind down the duo went for a ride.

ps: this pic is for my parents.
they are in fresno, ca serving an lds mission and don't get to see their grandkids on a regular basis.
i don't either, but utah is a lot closer than fresno.
this is one of my nephews, number twenty four of twenty five, Aaron.
he is DARLING.
so sweet and so chunky.
he probably weighs more than nikson, who is sixteen months older than him.
say what!

Called to Serve...

(We were watching via FaceTime when they opened the letter saying where they are going. Thanks to Alisa for capturing the moment for us!)

FINALLY!

Mom and Dad finally get their turn to serve a full-time mission for our church! It has been a huge blessing to watch them prepare for this moment. My mom went through her cancer experience and is healthy enough to go and my dad finally gets the Elder Jones name tag. They are going to Fresno California and they report 4th of July. I am so excited for them. I love my parents. They are the most incredible people and have taught me amazing principles. I love their examples of loving the Lord and putting their trust in Him. To learn more about why they are going go here.
