animals

sometimes i look at my little and can't believe how fast he is growing.
it is totally freaking me out.
i think my favorite transition has been watching him read books.
we try to read every day.
the little really loves reading when handsome is reading.
wholesome male bonding time.
mom cleans the house, boys read their books.
i love it.

(photos taken on my iPhone)

the little really really likes to make animal noises so we read books that help him practice making them.
he has elephant, tiger, peacock, and seagull down.
its pretty awesome.

what books do you love reading?

  1. Aw, I love it! My little Dot loves to "read" too, and happily sits with a stack of books for ages, turning page after page and making animal sounds! She knows a few different animals now, including mooing for a cow, and she bounces for a bunny - it is SO cute! Love the photo of your two boys reading, by the way. x

  7. We LOVE Brown Bear in our house! My boy reads it to himself, I'll hear him whispering to himself, "Brown bear, brown bear, what you see? Red bird, what you see?" So sweet. We also love anything Dr. Seuss!

  9. We love Eric Carle here!I bought them in english so the children hear that language i love.
My little girl who is now 3 has been watching books by herself and turning pages, and holding the books upside down since she is 18 months....She can spend hours watchings images and telling stories to herself!
Stories and songs are the best way to learn(without working) how to speak, and know more vocabulary (and get used to the sounds of a foreign language)...Great experiences to come for your little!
    Kisses
